Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: I don't have the best credit. Will I still be able to rent one of your properties?
A: Although we do look for applicants with a 580+ credit score, we understand not everyone's credit is golden. We may still rent to applicants with lower score if they otherwise have a strong rental application. Our application processors look at two types of negative credit; situational and attitudinal. Based on your credit report, you may be required to pay a higher security deposit.
Q: Do you accept pets?
A: Most of our rental properties do not accept pets. In properties which do, the type of pet is subject to approval of the owner and will require a $250 pet deposit.
Q: I may have something on my background check, will I still be able to rent?
A: If you are concerned with something we may find on your background check you may write a Letter of Explanation detailing, in your own words, the situation and the outcome. We are not concerned with minor traffic offenses. We check for violent crime, crimes of fraud, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Q: Do you accept Section 8?
A: Currently, we do not accept Section 8.
